  The Education Committee invites you to join us for a series of three classes on Reading and Understanding a Lease, CAM Concepts and Reconciliations Boot Camp.

  This in-person, 3-day Boot Camp is ideal for property administrators, tenant coordinators, assistant property managers, and early career CRE professionals. We encourage those individuals who also need a refresher to join us. These classes are the most important skills a commercial real estate manager will encounter during their career.

  Extended Learning Opportunity
  This is a fast-paced class. The last hour of the class is reserved for those individuals who require more time for assistance in the CAM & Reconciliation process.

  Day 1 - Reading a Lease (Wednesday, January 14, 8:30am - 12:00pm)
  In this session, you will learn how to critically read and interpret a lease with an emphasis on language that affects budgets and reconciliations.

  Day 2 - CAM Concepts (Wednesday, January 21, 9:30am - 12:00pm)
  In this session, you will learn about recovery concepts inclusive of, but not limited to: Caps, base year, pools and gross-up calculations.

  Day 3 - Reconciliations (Wednesday, January 28, 8:30am - 12:00pm)
  In this session, you will learn the importance of gathering accurate documentation, reviewing the general ledger, creating expense pools, and performing recovery calculations.

  • BOMA/Suburban Chicago Members: $199
  • Non-Member: $250
