Brought to you by the Engineers Committee.
The demands of a Building Engineer have changed in today’s world of technology. The building of today is a much different building than it was 20 years ago, or even five years ago. Engineers have stepped out of the boiler room and into the building. Managing a building and it’s many components has become more technical and computerized, demanding a new set of skills.
That’s why you don’t want to miss the June Engineers Lunch on Education & Training. We will welcome a representative from the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (MEEA) to provide an overview of the Building Operator Certification® (BOC) program, which is a nationally recognized training and certification program focusing on energy efficient building operations and preventative maintenance procedures. You'll learn how the BOC program provides training to keep you up-to-date on the latest energy technology available and allows you to hear best practices firsthand from experts in the field.
In addition, BOMA Board member Patti Pierce, RPA, LEED AP, Hamilton Partners, will discuss BOMI International’s Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA)® designation program, which BOMA/Suburban Chicago will be offering, starting in 2020. During her presentation, she will explain how the SMA program will provide you with the tools to improve operations, create energy efficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance the value of your building.
Don't miss out on this chance to learn about these education opportunities available to you!
