July Members Lunch: Workplace Personalities

  • July 11, 2019
  • 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
  • The Estate by Gene & Georgetti, 9421 W. Higgins, Rosemont, 60018

Brought to you by the Program Committee.

There are four behavioral people styles, each with their own unique strengths and weaknesses. No style is better or worse than any of the others, just different. Each one of us has a dominant style, which can tend to trigger tension in people of other styles. Since the population is evenly divided among the four behavioral styles, understanding and accepting our own, as well as learning to communicate with the other three styles, is critical to foster productive relationships.

That’s why you don’t want to miss the July Members Lunch on Workplace Personalities. Join us as we welcome Jacqueline P. Callery Ed.D. of ETL Collaborative, who will help us identify our own behavioral people styles, learn about the importance of one’s level of assertiveness and responsiveness (emotiveness), and implement ways to work our styles to improve our relationships!

As an added bonus, we will be giving away a limited number of copies of the book, People Styles at Work and Beyond: Making Bad Relationships Good and Good Relationships Better. In this comprehensive and practical guide, the authors Robert Bolton and Dorothy Grover offer a proven method for understanding the key behavioral styles of those around you (including your own).

Collections for The Harbour

We will be collecting donations for our 2019 charity The Harbour at the July Members Lunch. Any donations received will help them continue to empower young people to be self-sufficient through safe housing and support services to prevent homelessness.

The Harbour is planning some fun events for their clients this summer, including visits to museums, trips to the swimming pool, and other various outings. All of these summer time experiences cost money.

Cash and checks will be accepted onsite to help fund events like these. VISA gift cards would also be welcome.

You can also purchase items from The Harbour's Amazon Wish List and it will be delivered directly to The Harbour. The Wish List is updated regularly.

New this year!

Anyone who provides a donation at the lunch, or who has contributed previously, will be given a sticker to wear, indicating that they support The Harbour. Help us fill the room with stickers!
