Engineers Lunch: Diagnosing Roof Leaks

  • February 07, 2018
  • 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
  • Continental Towers, Tower 3, 1701 Golf Road, Rolling Meadows, 60008

Water leakage issues into buildings can be a frustrating nuisance, particularly when the source cannot be easily determined. Many Property Managers and Building Engineers spend considerable resources in addressing roof leaks or leaks through building facades, with mixed results.

With the complexity of roofing systems, there are several areas in which water could leak into your building. In fact, many leak-prone areas on your roof require timely repairs, and if the problems aren't diagnosed in time, the issue will just get progressively worse, ultimately causing more property damage and repair expenses. In many cases, continuation of roof leaks can cause saturation of roof insulation, necessitating complete roof replacements.

That's why you don't want to miss the February Engineers Lunch on Diagnosing Roof Leaks to hear Kami Farahmandpour of Building Technology Consultants, Inc. as he discusses how to identify and diagnose roof leaks in commercial properties. He will provide tips on how to locate the origin of roof leaks and identify solutions to correct common issues.

A facility tour will follow the presentation.
