Geoffrey Baer Shares His Havana Adventures

Multiple Emmy award-winning Public Television writer, producer, and program host, WTTW's Geoffrey Baer, will share his very own adventures in Havana, Cuba as the Keynote Speaker!

Geoffrey Baer is most familiar to Chicago audiences for more than 20 feature-length TV specials exploring Chicago’s Loop, lakefront, river, boulevards, neighborhoods and suburban areas on foot, by bike, boat and even aboard a private “L” train. He ate his way through the city in The Foods of Chicago: A Delicious History (nominated for a James Beard Award), and tested the knowledge of ordinary Chicagoans on the street in his quiz show Where in Chicago. Geoffrey also appears weekly on WTTW’s flagship nightly news program Chicago Tonight, answering viewers’ questions about Chicago architecture and history in a segment called Ask Geoffrey. Nationally, he hosted the PBS primetime series 10 that Changed America and the PBS special Ten Buildings that Changed America about game-changing parks, towns, and buildings across the country.
