Recently, a few of our Emerging Leaders SIG members had a great time putting together these gorgeous donation boxes to place at member buildings as a way to collect additional items for The Harbour, our 2019 charity.
These donation boxes are a great way for our members to show additional support for our charity and get their tenants and visitors involved.
If you would like to have one of these these beautiful donation boxes placed in your lobby or other common area, let us know. Our Emerging Leaders will do all the work for you! A member of the group will personally deliver the box to your building and collect the donated items when it's full. You don't have to do anything except spread the word to your tenants! It's that's simple.
For more information, please contact Barb Turbett.
Be sure to attend our September Members Lunch where a panel of experts--including two HR representatives, a fashion stylist, a senior-level property manager, and an Emerging Leader--will weigh-in on what the models are wearing, provide information on dress code policies, and offer their own personal experiences on fashion in the commercial real estate industry. You don't want to miss this action-packed Members Lunch!

As Cook County Assessor Fritz Kaegi pushes forward with his property tax reforms, BOMA/Chicago's Michael Cornicelli speaks out about the many negative implications they will have on the commercial real estate community. Click below to learn why BOMA/Suburban Chicago and BOMA/Chicago strongly oppose Kaegi's proposed legislation which would require commercial property owners to submit their data on rental rates, occupancy levels, concessions, net operating income, and other benchmarking information.
