Brought to you by the Emergency Preparedness Committee.
You never know when an emergency situation will occur. One of the best ways to prepare for emergencies is by learning First Aid and CPR. By empowering yourself with the knowledge of First Aid and CPR, you could be preparing for a very important role: saving someone's life! When performed properly - and in a timely manner - performing CPR and First Aid can be the determining factor whether someone lives or dies. In the minutes it takes a First Responder to arrive on the scene, someone with traumatic injuries could succumb to their afflictions if they aren't immediately helped by someone who is already there; that someone could be you!
That's why you should join us at the Emergency Preparedness Committee's Advanced First Aid/CPR Training where Emergency Care Consultants will be providing a 4-hour, certified instructor-led course covering the basic safety practices everyone should know when faced with an emergency situation, as well as the most up-to-date techniques of advanced First Aid.
Attendees will learn:
- Adult and Infant CPR
- AED training
- EpiPen application
- Advanced trauma First Aid
- Correct tourniquet procedures and application
All attendees who complete the 4-hour training will obtain certification in First Aid and CPR by the American Red Cross.
