Emergency Preparedness Interactive Exercise and Breakfast

  • September 14, 2017
  • 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM
  • Triton College, 2000 5th Ave, Building B - Registration Building, Second Floor, Room 204 - Linden Room, River Grove, IL 60171

Your computer network is under a cyber attack. What actions do you take to correct the situation? Who do you contact for help? How do you get your business back up and running?

The sounds of shots fired are heard one morning inside your building. What do you do? How do you notify your tenants and ensure their safety as well as your own?

When you join us for the Emergency Preparedness Interactive Exercise and Breakfast, you'll be given different scenarios based on actual events that have occurred or could occur in your buildings. Each scenario will require a coordinated effort with property management teams and first responders to participate in an active discussion about how to react in each situation.

The goal of this exercise is to allow property management teams the opportunity to think outside the box when it comes to reacting to emergency situations in their buildings and to evaluate the effectiveness of their own policies and procedures. Attendees will take away important best practice responses to deal with emergency situations and key information to continually update and improve their own Emergency Management Plans.

Who should attend? All property management team members are invited to attend this event: Property Managers, Property Assistants, Engineers, Security Staff, additional support staff, and first responders from local municipalities. Associate members are also encouraged to attend this event, however, as space is limited, only one representative from our Associate member companies will be admitted.

Registration is now closed.
